Ms. Kaysse claimed that a herbal formula was given to her in 1922, a patient whose breast cancer was cured by traditional Indian healer in Ontario. Thousands of patients have since used this herbal mixture, most of which were treated in a private clinic, Ms. Kaysse in Bracebridge (Ontario, Canada). The clinic has become a virtual pilgrimage site for cancer patients, and Rene Kaysse has become very popular. As reported, the method Essiac has received positive feedback from the ordinary Canadian doctors and was close to recognition as the primary treatment of oncology.

In 1937, Dr. Emma Carson spent 24 days in a clinic in Bracebridge in Ottawa, where Rene Kaysse did most of his work. Having studied the treatment of materials of 400 cases of cancer patients, she said that "the overwhelming majority of patients Miss Kaysse come to her for treatment after failure of conventional treatment, when patients have already been recognized as incurable. Actual results of treatment by the method of Essiac were absolutely amazing and convincingly confirmed the effectiveness of a technique. "

Although the clinic in Bracebridge ceased operations in 1942, Essiac technique has remained in continuous use as an alternative cancer treatment. Charles Brush (Charles Brusch), MD (doctor of President John F. Kennedy) confirmed that Essiac method "cures cancer". Dr Brash actually successfully cured their cancer, colon cancer using Essiac techniques.

As a result, health officials approved the use of Essiac technique Canadian patients under special conditions. We can say with confidence that the vast majority of users, and techniques approved prescription herbal mixture without this permission. But for those who prefer the "unofficial" version, the problem is that Ms. Kaysse never made the well-known formula. A number of companies now sell competing "original" Essiac formula in the form of tea, but the authenticity of some of these formulas is controversial.
In this article, we will not understand the competing claims. For a description of the exact formula used by Rene Kaysse these proceedings do not make sense. Currently, Essiac technique is already well known.

It is important to note that, while trying to ensure Kaysse oral administration of grasses, yet large part of the success in the treatment of cancer has been associated with the injection form of herbal injection solution.
Obviously, this is the most powerful and fast-acting way to delivery of the active ingredient, which ensures that the body will resist cancer. However, a large number of patients have reported success using herbal tea.

As in many cases, when you can not find the boundaries of knowledge, Kaysse thinking about the issues that are still unresolved today. While no one denies the proposed theory, but no one has confirmed it. At the same time, the four herbs that are the cornerstones of the formula Essiac fairly well understood.

Many users find the techniques that Essiac may not improve the body's ability to fight cancer, but that Essiac tea is an effective means of reducing the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation therapy is quite obvious.
The technique has been tested in Essiac Memorial Sloan-Kettering (MSKCC) and U.S. National Cancer Institute (NCI) in the 1970s and has been declared, no antitumor activity was discovered in animal systems. This finding is not only questionable because of the wealth of data and informal methods of support, but also because many of its components are individually identifiable shown as antineoplastic agents in independent tests.
